Dave Fisher – Clinical Director and Head Vet BVetMed CertSAC CertSAM MRCVS, RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Cardiology and Small Animal Medicine
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon (MRCVS) in 1985 from the Royal Veterinary College, London.
I have worked in small animal practice since 1998 and completed my post-graduate certificate in Small Animal Cardiology in 1993.
In 2000 I completed my post-graduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine.
I set up Brentknoll Veterinary Centre in 1993 and began seeing referral cases for Cardiology in 1994 and Internal Medicine in 2000.
We try very hard to get our patients better! Get an accurate diagnosis first, sort out a treatment plan after full owner discussion, and work in conjunction with the referring practice.
I believe in having the right equipment and right staff to get the job done.
Where possible, we encourage owners to go back to their regular practice for follow up blood tests and follow up medication.
My special interests are heart and lung conditions and general medical problems for both cats and dogs. We provide a practical personal caring approach to your clients at a level between Diplomat / Specialist level and general practitioner.
If we do not feel confident in accepting a particular referral we will say so and suggest alternative sources for you.
